Description

This was inspired by some of Howie Farkes works :) If anyone DARES to suggest my car is on the wrong side of the road - think before you type otherwise you'll get a jolly old cyberslap from me! Anyhoo, it's an Aston Martin and the steering wheel is on the right hand side - so is the driver ;-) -------------------------------- After some constructive comments I rerendered with a bigger car and smaller posts - looks better now :-) I do appreciate when someone tells me it ain't right !!! --------------------------------- Some items used: Lush Western Mountain Trees, Road Pack, Meta Peeps (Chipp Walters freebie) from C3D, and my Eco Grass Thanx 4 peekin'

Great scene and render, you can certainly see the HowieFarkes inspiration. The car does look a little small, or the white posts too big but that could just be me. Great colours and depth too, very nice.

Well, since I don't want a cyberslap...but you know I was going to say something because I always do :-) Anyway...this is a lovely scene...I'd love to be driving through there. I do agree with Merlin Studios however that either the car is too small or the white stakes too large. Regardless, it's a grand image and I love it! (even if the car is on the wrong side of the road) :) (sorry...I couldn't resist)

Great looking scene Gill and don't you worry as I loaded the pic in my paint program and flipped it horizontally to fix that problem for you before I commented on it. ;)

Very pleasing. Maybe to please everyone you should have the car driving down the middle of the road. I always find it safest to be "middle of the road" with my art! ;)

I'd say this is as near perfect as it gets Gill! Even though the car is on the RIGHT side of the road (for UK that is) Hahahaha! Steve :o)

I like the image but wish you had made the car any colour than green. It just doesn't stand out enough. A nice red, orange, or yellow might have been a better choice.

This is better than well done. It's gorgeous. Foliage and trees are superb. Detail is all in harmony to the road. Excellent

Strangely enough, having driven on the left (i.e. the right side of the road) all my life, I adapted remarkably easily to driving on the right (i.e. wrong side of the road) when I lived in Canada, and then had much more difficulty re-adjusting to driving on the left when I returned home... Greta image. I had to look hard to see that the driver hadn't gone AWOL.

Aahhh! My favorite car! If I could pick any vehicle to have it would be an Aston Martin. Beautiful country this one's going through. Great job!

The car looks to be on the right side of the road to me as this is where we drive, down under, and this could be one of our forests too so you see everything is right. A really great image.

Nice image, Gill. Having worked in a country beat for some years, before going into the big, bad city, I would not at all be surprised to see a car on the wrong side of the road, especially in the dark, and that was just the locals .. ;o) I can remember an American professor touring our castles on the Clyde Valley, who forgot where he was... No green visible up here at the moment. With night temperatures down to -8C and -12C, and some daytime ones down to -18C where my daughter lives, less than 45 miles south and east from Glasgow, it has certainly been the worst cold spell for a while. I do remember lying snow, as opposed to drifted snow, higher than our police landrover's door, preventing us carrying out a search for a missing schoolboy. Seems he made it to his girfriend's farm, but not home, when his secondary school was sent home... He was no doubt happy. His mother was livid. That was a bad cold spell, since I actually wore my isssue greatcoat in -22C at Forth and Carnwarth back in 1982 or 1983, I think. Warm regards, for 2010, my friend. I have downloaded your update to the Winter Collection for VUE, and will proceed to use it soon, John.
