Here's a render of Sharon with lululee's Dixie Dynamic Hair. Postworked, obviously - played with things like layer blending, vignetting, cooling filter, and hue & saturation.

Heavy nose glow going on there (not sure if that's important to you)... You might also want to increase the shadow map size to get some cleaner shadows cast from the hair on the forehead.

pjz, thanks for the comment... I didn't have any nostril glow when I was casting shadows from spotlights, but the spots were giving me too many artifacts, so I switched to an infinite. Sigh.
