Description
Santa came early this year... My sons have decided that I need a doggie after losing my last Dachsie last year in September and this morning little Nikita came into my life. She is a miniature Dachsie and 7 weeks old. The little character and attitude is already present!!
Needless to say that I'm thrilled with my new friend and at the moment she is sleeping on my shoulder - already spoiled...

What a love! They are great for morale and keeping you moving...let 'em out, let 'em back in, breakfast, lunch, dinner...mine gets to sleep on the bed too. She looks at me as if to say, "Why not, you sleep there". Glad you are redoggied.

What a cute puppy! I love her puppy-ish expression, though the name leaves me a wee bit confused. In Russia, Nikita is a male name. Oh well...just chalk it up to not being in Russia. Anyway...what an adorable puppy. I'm a cat person but I enjoy canines for their often perpetual-puppy charm. She has pudgy little puppy paws too. That's adorable! Her expression is priceless. I'll bet she can get away with absolute criminal behavior just by flashing you a look from those big, innocent looking eyes.
