My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Almost abstract architecture from this POV. Glad you showed me this the other day so I could ask for more info:-) The colors are so rich...and the lighting so interesting. But then that's why you took this in the first place! Outstanding. I know your fellow-travellers will love this too.

Very nice! I love this rich light.

Oh, this makes that exploded aluminum can look exquisite! Like I always say, you can't actually look at this thing from a distance: you have to get up close and actually see how it's put together! I love this shot. I love your POV and choice of framing this shot because in many ways it looks like the bow of a cello or violin, or viola against the wood frame with the strings just over there a little bit. I love this. It makes me glad that I at least saw a bit of Chicago...never mind the fact that I see Chicago every day! This is different, it's from an alternate Chicago...one I prefer! You make this city look like a place that's actually friendly to humans. Great work.
