Description

I'll admit whatever interest here isn't really due to the quality. :) Yesterday I made my first-ever real assay into the Hair Room, starting off with the skullcap from PhilC's Hair Designer as a base (it's set to invisible). As you can see, the style is quite a mess; I'm in the early process of feeling my way around. Once again I am impressed with P8's rendering speed with dynamic hair. This image is not enlarged; I rendered at 952x750px. Render settings were quite high: Shading rate 0.2; 6 IDL bounces; 567 IDL shadow samples; IDL Irradiance Cache 71.6; 2 raytrace bounces; shadows, displacement and smoothing all on. Render time: 36 minutes 16 seconds. Try that with transmapped hair on an overloaded 32 bit machine.... Head morph is from OOT/Bice's Topmodel set; but the texture is my own Believable MidLife Sharon with one of her makeups. (I'm noticing I need to do some work on her eyeballs; they're too pure white; need some veins.) The scene is Poser World's Stockhom Room; I also used Bagginsbill's environment sphere.
