That sweet face that I've been wanting to use in one of my portraits, she waited for me this long and I won't let this rare chance to pass by without including her in my gallery. This beautiful, innocent face created by a great friend, FABIANA.
Dear Fabi, this is for you and I hope that there will be more blessings to come your way today and always.
Have you seen the Polar Express movie? My memory takes me to the time when I was about 7 or 8 years old. It was Christmas eve, I can't sleep at night thinking if I will tip toe out of bed and hide behind the door, maybe, just maybe I can see Santa put all our gifts under the tree. Just so I did. The next thing I know, my mom was standing next to me and asked me what was I doing in the dark and why in the first place I wasn't in bed. Of course, I won't tell her why, so I went back to bed and still tossing and turning, I waited for the big guy in red. It was quiet. Each fleeting second went by, then hours went swiftly... I was in La-la land. It was until the next morning that I saw all the presents under the tree and my stocking filled with toys and surprises. Oh no, I missed him! I was about 9 years old when my elder brother ruined the magic for me and told me it was just mom and dad the whole time. Well, that is Christmas, through the eyes of a child.

Ok..so yes the character is sweet but the santa sleigh and reindeer shadow blew me away... I know simple things for the simple minded. Very talented work and the character is charming!

Hey Jenny... thanks God I don´t use makeup because the tears would be messing it... this is sooooo wonderfull and touching... I had the similar feelings in the childhood and still make packs for my girls on Xmas... they are growth and of course, they know who Santa's is but I still love to remind them that the magic was there and can live forever... Such a beautiful image; it's so hard to replicate innocence, but you have mastered it here. I'm very touched by your words - so many have forgotten the magic and the closeness that Christmas inevitably brings. I'm so glad there are people out there not so caught up in the (for lack of a better word) bs.
