Description

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! to all my Rendo' friends. I hope you like this poem and the story. Does this story have any relevance with Christmas? Have a closer look at the illustration. who is the boy behind the every star and glitters of X'mas. What we have done to him? Since the first of this december I wrote few more poems, a short story, and a song for the Christmas.

Thank you for your elaboration on your poem. I saw a connection with Christ but couldn't quite understand it. This is a very pertinent poem throughout man's history. We are forever taking an idea or a person and twisting it until it no longer resembles what it started as. Whenever an idea gains popularity and power it loses much if not all of its value as it is manipulated to serve a select and powerful few. I love your progression in your poem. It goes from a missing and unloved boy, to stories woven about him, to other happenings woven into his story, to great feats attributed to him, to an industry and political party built around him. Then when he was found and did not fit in with the icon he had become, he was beaten and driven away. Excellent work and presentation.
