Description

Thank you for your comments and inspirations on my first poem. I hope you like this too. This poem is written on solar eclipse of 15-01-10 at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore. Now I'm at home. I dream of becoming a good writer and a poet. I dedicate this poem to tennesecowgirl who just undergone a minor surgery and to every one who is at difficult times.

Beautiful image and words! Wonderful description of the world becoming dark and mysterious. Excellent imagery of periods of pain and distress which usually last only moments when compared to the long seasons of our lives. Very nice rhythm to your words. Lovely presentation of your poem! I like the way the rose fades to grey and then gains color again, just as happens in an eclipse. It reminds me of words from a Moody Blues song "Cold hearted orb that rules the night. Removes the colors from our sight. Red is grey and yellow white. But we decide which is right, and which is an illusion." Beautiful work and dedication!
