Description
We traveled some 150 miles through the Olympic National Forest to get to Forks in far western Washington. Along the way we saw some spectacular sights including Lake Crystal where we stopped to take a few shots of the fog shrouded mountains and the wind whipped water. It was exciting, it was exhilarating, it was, oh how shall I put it, freaking cold!

It looks cold. Beautiful, but cold! It makes me want to get under a mountain of quilts. Hope you've got your long johns. Excellent capture of the fog! Wonderful colors! The water looks a cold steel blue.

It was definitely worth braving the cold. This is really a beautiful mountainscape and the fog makes it so dramatic. Superb shot!
