I was in bed getting ready to go to sleep when I thought of the cutest idea. I scribbled it down on a piece of scratch paper and went to bed. The next morning I opened up photoshop and started painting it. I filled the background with that brown color and sketched the mosasaur and chest in. (lolwut mosasaur is not a word!?) After that I paint bucket filled the basic colors in and masked them. Uh... Well that's beside the point. Anyway, it was intended to be a 'speed painting' practice, but I ended up spending so much time sketching it that I decided to scrap that idea and just paint. After I finished his body and the chest I got real sloppy with the water and just splattered a paint stroke for a background. Over all it took me an hour and forty nine minutes, including the sketch -____-
