Well, I hope everyone is having a peaceful and happy Christmas Eve. I myself have all the presents wrapped at long last and under the tree. So now I am kicking back and indulging in a little rum and eggnog. But don't drink and drive - I have to say that, it's the law.
However, Christmas Eve would not be the same without Sunsirae's traditional late evening chess match. And adding to the atmosphere this time she's tuned in to the delightful Emma Harry on Fabulous 15.3 - BHR. Pronounced 'Bee - Haich - Arr', "Your local radio, on top of the world".

I checked out the other Sunsirae's traditional late evening chess matches and chose this one because of Simon. I gave him a pat and he said, "Hey, watch the face!" They are all excellent! One of my first thoughts when I looked at this one was, "I want that table!" But then I told myself that that was hardly in the spirit of Christmas. Beautiful composition and light. I like the view in the windows of the snow and the soft reflections. I like the book open on the floor. It makes me think of activity and that the room, though a showcase of beauty, is actually lived in to. Or maybe that is a rationalization. Not that there are ever books on my floor. Well, moving quickly away from that statement, Simon is lovely and the tree, though not of the special kind, is very pretty too. Beautiful Christmas scene with wonderful light and atmosphere.
