Description
Here we look down past Phobos Port on a terraformed mars. I've used Don Edwards fantastic Mars surface texture maps for this. Phobos the innermost of the two Martian moons and orbits less than 6000 km (3728 miles) above the surface of Mars. Phobos orbits Mars below the synchronous orbit radius, meaning that it moves around Mars faster than Mars itself rotates -- this makes it well suited for an orbital space port.
