Another stretch of ironwork in Chicago---I could spend a year there and never get a fraction of it. And each one is different, beautiful in its own way.

I feel this way about the iron work in New Orleans' French Quarter. The details of this type of decoration are so often overlooked. Not in this shot! You really put it in the spotlight.

You and Tara make Chicago look like so much fun...but then when you and Tara were here, Chicago WAS fun and on its best behavior. Maybe you should return now just so that this pothole riddled snow bank might remember what its like to be an actual world class city! Okay, I'm rambling on a bit, but what else is new!? What an intensely elegant photo. The details are amazing and maybe the richness of the shapes is quite nice! Well seen! Are those pansies in the background?
