Description

"Darn it! Always the one on the bottom!" seemed like a long title. Thinking of a shorter title, the image reminded me of a stacking game, but I could not recall the name. I hope Jenga is the right game. :~) A little dedication to all those that travel during the Holidays. Your a lot braver than I...lol. Taken at the Sacramento airport. Thanks for the votes and comments on the last post. They are all very appreciated.

uhuh! and of course this is all going into an 18-passenger twin-prop plane and this is all just 3 people's luggage for the weekend and they'll be flying back the next day because they left the stove on...

A very unique capture. Yes, the game is called "Jenga". We used to play that when we were kids. I'm surprised the suitcases did not topple down.

If you look on about page 18 of my gallery, you will see this. I remember when these pieces were commissioned for the renovated airport a long time back. I have always been fascinated by them. They have added so many wonderful sculptures throughout the terminals and outside on the grounds. Not sure who is paying for all this artwork, but it certainly makes everyone's stay at Sacramento International Airport more fun. I am only 20 minutes on the freeway from SMF. :-)

I thought at first it was an art installation. Then I read your description and thought it was real. Then I read PJ's comment. Very appropriate art for an airport.
