Description

Bryce6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape Darkness falls on the Primevian jungle, and as the explorers settle in for the night at their makeshift campsite, they do not go un-noticed.From the high ledges of the surrounding rock structures that jut upwards above the forest canopy, the smoke from their campfire catches the attention of a forest denizen, her nocturnal eyesight attuned to the slightest variation in her world. As the ever-present pteranadons catch one more thermal before retiring to their roosts for the night, she shifts uneasily and begins her descent to the ground below. Created in Bryce6.1,all terrains are customs, rendered in preset veg textures. These were then duplicated, and one of the procedural textures was made transparent, breaking up the texture to create the appearance of foliage. This group of terrains was then raised slightly to create shadows on the texture beneath.Figure is Aiko3,with Dagonnessa outfit,Anime Hair and Aikiyu skin mat.Aiko and pteranadons were posed in DazStudio, and are from Daz3D.Sky.light and atmo are custom. In Photoshop I cloned out edges of terrains to break up outlines, added extra foliage details, distant smoke and birds,as well as signature. In Photoscape I tweaked the levels slightly. Thanks for viewing and any comments you wish to leave!

Wow, you've been doing such a brilliant job on this whole series of primeval scenes, and this is just awesome stuff. I love the hazy atmosphere, the vague silhouettes, it's all fantastic!

You are really creating a wonderful alien planet with this series.

Still hammering for funds on the Pandoran Age project. Don't forget us-the more ammo I have the closer we get to scoring.

You have a real talent for creating depth in your landscapes and this is one of the finest I've seen. Each range of mtn is faded just perfectly. The sense of drama is enhanced by the strongly jutting outcrop and the almost but not quite silloute appearance of the girl. The pteranodons give just enough sense of movement to know the world is alive. I respect the detail comments you make about your image creation process. It is so excellent to see such knowledge shared.

Stunning render, Neil - possibly the most powerful of the series so far. I love the rolling terrains, the atmosphere and lighting, the menacing pteranadons, the sillhouette.. everything. Wow!
