My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

How about to the left of the couple (one in black shirt and one in white) close to a bit of grass? This is beautiful! More?

I see you back there:) Only I know for sure... This is my favorite picture of The Cloud Gate. From here it looks like an egg...silver...think one of those big silver birds that brought you to Chicago deposited it going in or out of town? Got more Bean shots...I'll look forward to more reflections.

An amazing illusion - I love art with a trick up its sleeve, that doesn't require much thought...only amazement. LOL Its also curious to see the different attack plans of different styles of photographers.

I knew there was a lot of great photos in that bean.

I suspect that you're on the forefront of a new wave in artistic expression, probably called something like "Cloud Gate Curvature" or something like that. I love shots of Da Bean, and I'll probably take more to add to my already copious number of bean shots. In terms of this one, it's perfect! It's so warm and alive and full of excitement. Seeing Marilyn in typical "Marilyn pose" gave me long-lasting smile, and seeing Mark does the same. And you're there too...well within the curve of the bean, but you're instantly recognizable...even Kafka noticed, and he's not one to ponder photographs very much. What I really like about this is the fact that the Cloud Gate actually has clouds in it! WOW! This is gorgeous on multiple levels! Great work, as always!

Modern art is not my thing BUT, it does make for great photos!!!!! Great shot... If only you could get rid of the people... Rob
