Oh I love this! I look at this image and it makes me think of Ükür and Agara...another world oozing into this one through some strange sort of dimensional prolapse. Hmmm...is it strange that I've just used the word "prolapse" in terms of a comment on art? It fits...there's a wonderful forward-bulging interdimensionality to this picture. You've captured at least two worlds here and there's excitement inherent in that! What wonderful work! For me, this image is a great thing to see during the close of 2009, and it holds quite a few promises to look forward to in terms of 2010! I love this!

another example of the amazing work you're posting, it really is an edge and it edges its way into the world around it like a big orb of light. And your sense of real world inside the bean and the juxtapositions with the world around it (the greenery, the bit of walkway behind, w/ people, and the grid of metal going well out of the frame) is photographic art at its best. You're really working with bleached saturated whites these days, and you're doing masterful things with it. The upper edge of this bean is wonderfully "almost non-existent". And the deep filtered look of the reflected world is just wonderful. This is masterful seeing & processing, tara, and it's another addition to your wonderful series with this innocent little bean. Light & space in motion & collision. More brilliant.
