Quote:
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as 'bad luck.'

Nicely done!

Very nice. I like this too. The other version as stated cry "Fantasy Book Cover" Which is great by all accounts. Looking at the close up this cried realism (as far a dragons go) The environment is awesome and there is a lot of detail even in the rock formation.
texboy
even better, bud! fine work on all parts!!
autview
Fantastic realism at it´s best! 5*+! Like every detail! Great light and mood.

Superb - I love the muted lighting and the focus on the dragon
geirla
Vey nice! I love the background clouds and the color. But rule of thirds or not, I think the dragon needs to be closer to the center. Or the image needs to be cropped a bit. (I think it's because the tower is thirded, not the dragon)
callad
Yes, this one I like much, much better! Fabulous environment with the dragon having a well proportioned part of the image!

Oooo, I like the long view of this scene. Really nice. I'm not sure which version I like better. Both have their merits.
psyoshida
Agreed, the original is very, very good but this is outstanding. Excellent work.

I really like the expanded view and comp better in this piece. Very cool.

i like both. i think the space to the left is good, but the dominance of the dragon in the other is good, too. i think i like the light on the other a little better, but i also like the shadow this light produces on the interior of the tower. the only thing that strikes me about this one is the same issue i had with the previous one. it seems so low contrast that it made me feel like something is wrong with either my eyes or my monitor. that said, that's what happens at dawn and dusk, (incidentally making them the most dangerous times to drive). i like how you've managed to combine purple, rose and green and not have it look at all garish. nature achieves this easily, but it's no mean feat for a human.
dragonmuse
I love them both.
Krid
..real great dragon scene
cipher_X
It was a wonderful scene in the cutoff version but even better showing off the whole panorama - great job!
Seaview123
Amazing work!
faroutsider
I love both versions, but I think this is better balanced - the dragon seemed to be falling backwards in the previous image. The lighting is spot on - dawn/dusk is not only the most dangerous time to drive, but also the most dangerous time to meet a ticked-off dragon...
PhilW
Both great - and nice to have both!
Rutra
I like this much better. Very good work.
