BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

I can't keep up with you, you're too productive lately lol Funny the first thing I noticed is how handsome he looks and I love his hair and the second one, was the tear in the seat, you did such a nice job at that lol

I like this image, not the least for your thoughtful critique of your own work - a difficult task especially at such a short time after its creation. Thank you for sharing your commentary, it makes your works all that much more enjoyable.

i love the scene. i grew up in Jersey, and still miss talking with my friend in diners. we still talk by phone, but it's not the same. the food looks very realistic to me, even though we don't see much of it. it's easy to identify the dish even though we can't see much of it, which always impresses me. is he part of the bug comic? or is his coloring a coincidence? the only thing that strikes me as a little unusual is how red his skin is. for one thing, even for skin in a normal setting, it's very red. just to make sure about that, i checked with an eyedropper in Photoshop (because i wanted to verify it's not me), and most of his skin tones have a hue of either 3 to about 8, or actually go into the realm of purples up in the 300s (mostly above 320). in a white room that would be unusual, but he's also surrounded by turquoise (double checked on the amount of green in the leather, too) it doesn't look bad, though it does make me curious about the Aer and Mer and why their skin is so red. i've only noted so much detail because i wasn't sure we were seeing the same thing and i wanted to use absolutes rather than a relatives. everything about this is expertly done. as with the Aer charcters, i find the eyes and hair very striking. you tell the best stories with your compositions. the reflection in the table almost seems like a departure from style, but it works so well as a design element. it makes the large space the table makes interesting and connects it to the rest of the surroundings. you obviously know when to do something a little different when you need to. great work!

Yup, Gum, and duct tape on vinyl seats! But at least it looks clean! Reminds me of a downtown diner from the 20's I used to eat in here. It even had mini juke boxes at each table.
