Breathtaking, photorealistic, with great use of light, terrain, and the scrub vegetation clinging to the cliffs. Great composition and POV, my friend. How did you ever think of it? DId the title come first? Warm regards, as the ice spreads even more in Glasgow, and the national 'religion' ( football / soccer ) is badly affected by the continued cold snap, John

Thanks, so much to learn, and so many things that go wrong. But to answer your question, one thing always leads to another. Using the TU canyon, I modified it to make a canyon within a canyon (make it deeper) and got the ledges. Then I went on a hunt for an object that would look strange but cool. And then the idea of recluse, rich, and now gone - majesty may be majesty, but it is a fleeting thing. We have a cold snap in WV also, at the grass roots, this country is slowly, ever so slowly starting to appreciate the "real" football. My children played the game from youth through high school - and it brought them great joy. And it is without question the world's sport. Stay warm! Piet

That NWDA canyon preset certainly gives the artist an excellent starting point on which to build. This is to take nothing away from your own inspired input, and the resulting scene is immense. I would echo that this is your best work yet. Well done, indeed.

WeeLaddie, to add to that theme, tools like the NWDA canyon preset do more than give us a starting place. They give us a foundation. I'm not smart enough to use TG2 proper, but I'm smart enough to see how others have done and to fiddle with it, and the result is a very slow learning. Learning BTW that never would have occurred otherwise. The analogy here is like a monkey on a mechanical piano that has good music loaded - but it is ok, as the monkey is grinning ear-to-ear.
