Description
This is for DAZStudio3 object exports. So you DAZ guys that want to use TG2 - follow these steps. I wish I knew how to use DAS!!!!
0) pose the object with DAZStudio 3 and export it as an obj file.
1) Edit the mtl file and replace "/Maps/" with "Maps/"
2) Edit mtl - search for jpg and for readibility put a line feed behind each jpg
3) import and place obj into tg2
4) for each material in tg2 take a look at the mtl file and verify/add:
a) map_Kd into "color image"
b) map_Ks into "reflectivity image"
c) map_Bump into "displacement image"
d) map_D into "opacity image"
5) when all nodes are correct in tg2, right click on obj and save it as a tgo (so that the spec and displacement, etc keeps for the next time).
6) I delete the obj (taking note of position and rotation)
7) add it back in as a tgo file.

Very good workflow explanation. Perhaps you could develop this into a full blown tutorial on modifying mtl files (with some clarifying examples of coding changes in the mtl file) and the convertion from obj to tgo. Hopefully in the future TG2 will be more forgiving of mtl variations, in the importation of 3d object files.
