Description

Ok I was playing with Chaos Pro, I have no idea what I am doing, but this playing turned out better then the playing with Daz, which I am still doing. At least with this there are no arms to stick through any bodies. Just a bunch of strands of colors which I managed to swirl around.(and I don't know how I did it) Then I took them into Photoscape to light them up. I know there is a way to get that effect right off the bat in Chaos Pro, but I haven't stumbled on it yet. I thought I would give it a whirl, literally. What do you think?? Any pointers?? Because I really don't have a clue. Much love and peace, Cheri

Absolutely cool work here, Cheri! as for pointers with fractals, talk to three_grrr about them. she's the one who got me turned on to them and gave me some tips.

All I can say is that this is really really cool looking!!! It's almost as if you had used some kind of electronic paint and spin. I really do like your color choice,......but then you already knew that didn't you! It's great to see you playing again, I'm liking that a lot!!

oh, if I could give you pointers on fractals, Cheri, I would: I've done fractals and run out of the room, I had no clue what was going on. (There are humans in that software, I promise you: People live in those scripts.) You did a very luminous swirl here, and you colored it very nicely---luminous greens & blues & violets. I know that postwork is important in fractals, it's like polishing the marble or smoothing the stone. You turned it into a gentle spiral with light & mystery. Hope you do more. (I have the non-pro version of Chaos, and I've turned out some reeeeeealllly bad fractals. If you need bad fractals, I'm your man.) Given your very imaginative work with photo-manipulation, I imagine fractals would be a fine new avenue for you. A nice way to start a new year---a new art form with new lights. Very nice work! Happy New Year once more!

Sorry I can't offer any pointers, because I haven't a clue how those fractal images are generated. What I can say is that this is a very interesting image, and it catches the eye. Very nice work, and I hope you'll do more of them.

Looks like we've entered a worm hole headed toward another dimension. Very cool image. Maybe lessons would just ruin it?

And no help from this quarter either, vis-a-vis fractals, Cheri! They are beyond my ken at this juncture of knowledge. So, not being an expert at this particular art media, all I can say is that you did a terrific job in portraying this colorful swirl, eddy or whirlpool, young lady! It could easily pass as a worm hole into another universe.

Add a little gold and you'd be ready for Marti Gras, though this is perfect just the way it is. I agree with Mark. It looks like the entry way of a great interdimensional adventure! Beautiful first fractal!

Oh man! I am so so sorry I missed your first Cheri! Its beautiful and I am so thrilled to see you trying your hand at this! You should try apophysis too! Its free and if you can't do the math, just play with the triangles! I think you will be a natural, great start! Do you see the dolphin within??? :-)Hugs and Happy New Year to the two of you!
