Hello Good People,
This is Bandit my mom's dog. My mom passed away Christmas Day. I am trying to keep grounded and keep my mind in tack. Uploading this image will help to stay in the here and now. It is hard for me to do anything. But I will try.
Bandit needs a home. You may be able to get him. He is seven and was spoiled rotten from mom. I taught him when he was a pup to sit quietly in the woods. He listens to me well. Mom and dad raised collies on their land. It was called Shanghai-la Collie Kennels. What a place to visit when all those puppies. I fed them every day while my dad was ill. It makes me glad to know mom is with dad and all her dogs. They loved them all so much. I miss my mom and go to the phone to call her. I am in the denial stage of grieving. I think. But I'll get through this some way.

Bandit is wonderful and reminds me so much of a collie named Lucky I had as a boy. I'm so sorry for your great loss Therese and will put you in my prayers.

Oh so sorry XoxoTree... may you have patience, my heartly condolences with you... It's a great loss indeed. Your mom's dog is such a sweet thing that people dream of. My cousin was asking me if he can keep a dog with him (he's living at my place these days temporarly) but I refused him because I like animals to live free. But this dog can't live free anymore. Like you lost your mom this sweet animal lost it's mistress too. He needs your sympathy too. I suggest you to take a good care of it as now it can't take care of itself because it cares for you more... Wish you have patience as there is no compensation for a mother. Yours sincerely Eagle

aw Therese I'm so sorry your going through stages and as your smart enough to know it will take more time sometimes I still want to call my brother who passed a few months ago and then I stop and think I'm nuts or going nuts Time does not heal but it steps away and the loving memories step in what a terrible time for you to lose someone ,and parents are the hard ones for us to let go,but you know also,that's the way it suppose to go older people first then young ones get older and it goes on and on: I hope and pray every night I go first and never lose a child any of them: My thoughts are with you,I love this animal but not able to take him I sure wish I could but he is so lovely and looks so smart you will find a great home for him Your in my prayers to heal and take it one day at a time: hugs (biggggggg hugs for you))

What a gorgeous dog this is. I hope you find a loving home for this beautiful creature. You will find that as time goes on, the pain will lessen, but when it really hits, just cry. I mean, all out, bawling, screaming, snotty crying. You can laugh, but you will know what I mean when it happens. Just let it all out. I'm here for you love. Hugs.

A beautiful dog Therese and I do hope you find him a good home. I am sorry to hear of your loss and you never get over losing your mother at least I never have and it has been a long time now, years and years in fact and I still talk to her in my mind. The pain just eases a little over time.

Oh Tree! What a gorgeous dog! He deserves a wonderful loving home, and I pray you find that home for him. As for grief, it will come, and when it does, follow Bunny's advice. It comes in fits and starts, it comes in waves, it comes when it's ready to come. And when you feel the tears, let them come just as Bunny said, full out, bawling, screaming, snotty crying. The pain will ease in time. But the love you feel for your Mom and your Dad never leaves, just as their love for you never leaves. Just holler, I'm here. Hugs, hugs, and more hugs.
