This just looked like a great place for the Faes to have a party. Happy birthday dear friend. I hope your day is most wonderful! I raise my mug of cappuccino to you and toast: May the sun be ever so present in your life, May good things come to you daily, May you always find all your socks in the dryer ( no dryer gnomes), May you have great health all the rest of your days, And may your imagination never run dry. Hey....I know that keep!!! Happy Birthday Mike!!!! This will make a great fortress for when the fae are being assailed! I wish you all of the best for this next year of your life. May peace break into your home and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy May the problems you had, forget your home address. And may tentacles never assault you in places you'd rather they didn't touch! I threw that last one in just in case......you never know! I'm telling you, Cheri, your postwork is bordering on painting & graphic art, you really change an image into something all its own. This looks like a postworked castle wall, but also like a miniature, and the fact that I can't tell which makes it all the more enticing. It really does look like a toy set for a fairy tale performance (by puppets, I guess!) though who knows! It's big but quaint; and the clarity of central image next to the fade of the foreground makes it feel like we're getting a sneak peak. Happy birthday to Mike, an artist I've heard so much about & seen around here so much, but who I honestly don't think I've visited. I'll have to rectify that soon. A lovely birthday image, and hope you & dave are keeping warm!!!
