Description

Women are from Venus I decided to take some friends offer for a girl’s night out on the home planet. I called my aunt, who never ventured far from home, and still lived there, to see if it would be alright to stay over. After all one should never drink and fly, and Venus is such a long flight from Earth, the cost of a taxi shuttle is maddening. I made sure I had my camera with me and right outside my aunt Caladhiel’s, is her beautiful garden of blue Venetian Merilwen. I had to have a picture of those for my living room wall. After snapping the perfect shot, I left my camera in the guest room and got ready to go out. We had a really great night out. We went from club to club dancing until dawn. I never danced so much in my life. Venus is the ultimate girl’s night out spot, no men allowed. Hey they are not being discriminating, there are no women allowed on Mars. This by the way is where Dave was at the time if you were wondering. He and his boys were attending the ultimate paintball challenge, one of the many testosterone filled activities going on there all the time. They play paintball hardcore at those. They all come back with welts they are just so proud of. Me I came back with the ultimate spa pack for the big bath tub. It had candles in it with exotic Venetian spice and floral scents, wonderful bath beads, a CD of Venetian relaxation mood music, and a bottle of the planets best wine. Only on Venus can you find that ultimate collection and just melt into your own little realm, at least for a little bit. After framing the photo I thought I would share these flowers with you. After all not everyone can make it to Venus these days with the cost of photon fuel cells being so high. When I am waiting around and get a little bored my imagination runs wild. This is just a really rough draft . Thank you for stopping by. Much peace and love, Cheri

So, Dave was out paintballing on Mars while you were living it up on Venus, eh, Cheri? Lovely lush and vivid colors in this exotic composition, young lady!

I wonder if we could grow them here. Beautiful iridescent color! And Venus sounds like fun. How about a 'boys welcome' night once in a while.

it's a vibrant flower shot cheri, with manipulation bringing out the blues, and making the background seem like a serigraph print (the kind Warhol used on his famous celebrity series, where he got hues and textures like this, and wove them through the faces from print to print). It has a print feel, and you've done very nice things with coppery hues and green speckles etc. As always your manipulations show natural sense for the medium. And I really liked your description of your evening. (And Dave played Paintball, huh? Lol. Never tried it. I had pillow fights with an old girlfriend, and she once threw an entire vegetable casserole at me, because she thought I looked good in "spinach"---I was dashing. I told her I was flattered, but it was a lonnnnng way to go to make a fashion statement. Besides it was still hot, and it wasn't the most comfortable sensation in the world, lol...) This is a must full-size. Very nice vibrant work once again.

This is fantastic! Oh, I love the color, the intensity and the whole Venusian-ness of it. The framing is quite nice as well, but I have to say that it's the colors and the flower-textures that really draw me in. Of course I also have to admit that I have a weakness for paintball wars!

At least they have beautiful flowers and plants on Venus!! Mars is pretty barren, hard to play paintball with almost no cover at all. Sure one could take refuge in one of the numerous canals, as long as you don't mind sharing it with the multi limbed natives, always asking you to share your water....and the sand gets everywhere!! You come home with a basket of goodies, for a nice languid hot bath, and I'm still scrubbing certain places that sand has no business being in. This is a sweet post worked shot baby. and the story behind it is pretty cool,......don't drink and fly huh?....well that would explain the tremendous headache!

Beautiful speckled flowers and great postwork that really makes them stand out! I'll have to see if there is shuttle service to Venus from San Antonio. Sounds like a great night out and a terrific goodies bag! Not to wish you more boredom but your wild imagination produced great results!
