Description

Once I was on the canyon floor there were many trails going up and down. I am posting this shot to show the various shapes, sizes and colors, that the Bryce Hoodoos have been molded into, by Mother Nature’s elements. You can clearly see the ‘sand dunes’ (bottom right)that have formed from the sandstone that has been eroded by the wind, water and drastic temperature changes. Thus creating the Hoodoos you see here. Scanned from a photo taken in 1996. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments. Dana

Its like an ancient city, I have never been to Bryce Canyon but every image I a=see has a spiritual feel to it and I sure wish I could go in person! Wonderful series Dana, I'm sorry I haven't time to comment on them all, but I did view them and they are all wonderful as is the history you gave,. Thank you for your kindness on Empty Arms:-)

It looks like a convention of castles, with the granddaddy lording over the rest! Wonderful shadows! I love the quality of the light, with the warm lit area against the cooler shadowed area. Stunning capture!
