Description

The Canyon floor has many trails and one area is the Queens Garden. The trail snakes among many Hoodoos and at one point starts the climb back to the rim. As I looked back over the Queens Garden, there sitting on the top of one of the Hoodoos, was Queen Elizabeth herself. I was assured, by the park rangers, that this is not manmade but a natural occurrence created by Mother Nature herself. It made my day. Scanned from a photo from May 1996. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments. Dana

Holy cow! I thought I was good at improbably balanced piles of stones, but this beats me all hollow! Great shot.

She does get around and is pretty spry for her years. Excellent color and details. Terrific capture!
