Description

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend, it is still very cold here It hasn't gotten above 30 degrees since we had snow last week, my driveway is still a sheet of snow and ice. So we've just been home relaxing watching movies, reading, dreaming of Hawaii things like that haha I had a knock at the door this morning, it was an older gentleman and a young boy, so I said can I help you and the Grandfather said with a sheepish grin, can we sled down your driveway and I said oh of course go ahead. I thought it was so cute they stayed out there for over an hour playing. I usually get kids out there wanting to play but this time its been so cold not too many have been out side at all. I still have our Christmas decorations out there lol. I guess I will bundle up later and go take them down, I don't usually leave them up so long but its not usually 20 degrees during the day here. Okay I am going to go back to dreaming of Hawaii, lol you all have a nice day!! This was taken in an area of the Smoky Mountains, in Tennessee called Cades Cove, this past October hope you enjoy, as much as I enjoy visiting the area. To listen to song click here. Beautiful capture of a lone tree. Sometimes this is a difficult shot...they are always moving around. LOL. Well, that's my excuse anyway:)

Thank you Lynell, for so beautifully evoking Cade's Cove in the fall. Compared to the Siberian conditions here in Kentucky it seems as warm and inviting as Hawaii!

Your Reflect inspired me again..it's my latest post. This is beautiful. I think Tennessee is one of few states I've missed. My granddaughter just graduated from UT at Chattanooga and has sent some great pix to me of the state.

LOL ... Bill I did try to tell the tree to stand still but it had a mind of its own. and I thought of going out to get some photos of them but I had just gotten out of the shower so I figured the wet hair and below freezing temperatures wouldn't go over to well. lol
