My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

like Cheri, I love the contrasts, the tapestry of fore & mid & background flowers & leaves. It's really rich Tara. A beautiful set of 'curtains'--that's how they feel to me--and 3 different focusses too. One day I'll start photographing flowers, but for now I'm not ready yet: I'll leave it to people like you, who seem to do this in your sleep (no pun intended, given your title). It's that natural when you do it...

This is beautiful! Thank you for your comment. I draw on a site, do not know how the program is called. If you want to see how I made this drawing with orchids can access this link http://www.desenatori.ro/desen-1190736.htm.

This should really be seen on zoom! It's beautiful anyway, but on zoom the brilliance of the orange against the somber greens and purples just reaches out of the screen and pops you one. It really woke me up! I love the texture of the poppy. It looks like brush strokes. Superb image!
