Description
...for those of you who don't know Mandy, this is the hardest dog to get to stand still for a picture. I think she has finally given up or gotten used to me always being around with a camera.
The temperture when this photo was taken was close to 0 degrees C. [added, phooey, I meant 0/f]
In case you are wondering, Mandy is a West Highland Terrier...they are bred to resist photographers:)

She looks so focused on something. Maybe that's why she's standing still. This is a very cute shot. I like the sweater too. Dogs get the coolest clothes, and it looks warm. I like this.

Aww...the sweater is adorable on her Bill :-) This is my sons girlfriends favorite dog breed. My little pups Renji and Ichigo love the camera but my moose of a dog Brindle would rather hide from it...lol

a wonderful shot of Mandy, it's almost as if she posed for you; and she does look like she's poised for something, checking something out, studying something. A wonderful capture. And the jacket doesn't seem to bother her, although I imagine that after a while she'll be saying, "ok, I went along with you long enough, now get this freakin' thing OFF me!" You have a way with animals, I wonder if you ever saw yourself as an animal photographer. You certainly have a feel for their expression and movements. Loving shot of a great pet. And thank you for looking at my now-defunct dog post (glad you liked it Bill!). The friend who passed was close years back; most of us hadn't seen him in some years; but when he passed, we all felt like we'd lost a brother even though we hadn't spoken to him in a long time. But my dog shot will go up again---it wasn't nearly as good as this (!) but at least I can compete with all you pet-people. First it was the camera crowd & I had no camera. Now it's the pet crowd, and i have no pet. You guys gotta cut me some slack here! Well I have to go to meet with Carl's friends, but this is a lovely way to end my session this morning. I love the shot. Mandy looks like a great pet, Bill.
