Gabriel_van_Dark Inspired me to post this today. I have had it since autumn, so it is about time to post it and as Gabriel posted a beauty of a fancy wood, I thought to answer on that :-D SO this is for you Gabriel. ____________ Thanks for your kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks to those, who added it to their favorites. :-) Have a lovely day. Helle, this is wonderful. I didn't really appreciate it until I opened it to full size on my 22" monitor. Rich colors and textures...wish I had it for my living room:)

What lovely light and textures! Those colors are amazing! I love old wood like this (but maybe it's because I look for insects so many times and I'm sure that insects like this also!) What I particularly enjoy is the mood of this piece. It reminds me of the silence of a forest or even a field, with only a few cows in the distance: very peaceful! This is amazing work, as always!

Thanks so much! You really made my day and put a HUGE smile on my face ^^ The colours are brilliant, and the light picks out exactly the right details and adds to the wonderful mood. The transition from the crispy detail to the darker background is fantastic. I love it!
