Description

I am trying to pull myself up by the hair and do more traditional art, by drawing from scratch in ArtRage, so it started as a simple drawing and the coloring and presentation is made in PSP9. I hope to go back to paper drawings this way or maybe my watercolors. Thanks for your kind feedback on my previous post and special warn thanks to those who added it to their favs. :-) Have a beautiful day. We have grey but calm weather today. Just around zero, so only just a bit freezing.

This is extraordinary Helle! The shadows are perfect and I love how it looks as if its off the paper, remarkable work! helle, just switch off the computer and then give it to per, tell him he should lock it away for 5 days and that he should protect it with his life! then i am sure you will get back to your watercolours :) but this little plant is beautiful nevertheless, really lovely!

Every time you do drawings in ArtRage, I think "I should do more of that!" and then I remember I can't draw for sh&t! LOL! You make it look so easy ... your talent continually delights and inspires me!

This is beautiful! The drawing is wonderful and the background brings it out to perfection! I love the shading on the leaves and the delicacy of the flowers. Excellent shadows, textured background and brighter center, which really make your drawing stand out. Gorgeous work!

a beautiful simple drawing of the curves & angles of a simple set of long leaves. I draw these frequently, and you really got the angles, Helle, and the curves, and the way a surface rolls over on itself. You even got it in the small flower petals. Those are small things, but they can be very hard to do (I struggle with them often), but you get them with seeming ease. And your simple cross-hatch & shading is just enough to give us shape & modeling (something you do in your freer watercolors); and your digitally created background & shadow are just right. A real delight!

I really like your sense of elegant grace! This is a gorgeous piece of artwork and it looks so delicate. That paper texture really makes the whole image seem tactile and sensual, like I can rub my fingers over it, but I'm afraid to leave fingerprints. This is truly a delightful and sensitive piece of work. Absolutely gorgeous. I also like the shadow quite a lot!
