There are some really cool effects, I like how the mines almost look like heads, the two lights easily pass for eyes. I notice some are pretty close to that ship but don't seem to be reacting, though. Unless, of course, this ship is supposed to be there, then it would explain everything. A friendly IFF signal would easily keep the mines from hurting the wrong ship, after all. I looks really cool to me!

I think it looks pretty nice! The background and the big ship are extremely well done. The mines I like individually, but maybe it's just that they all have the same vertical orinetation.

Comparing to the ship size the mines looks huge. Space minefields should be a lot greater than sea minefields, so mines could be easily a lot far each other, this could means that they are really idle missiles which awake when a 'not-friend' ship come close enough and then sprint head-on to mutual destruction. The ship itself looks nice as 'item' and rendering. Lanf

Nice image! I like the atmosphere and lighting. The models are really fantastic as well. I agree with geirla about the mines all being vertically oriented. Maybe a little more randomness would help? Overall I think it's a really cool image. Very well done!!

Okay, I'll be honest. It's not one of my most favorite from you, but the ship design and the mines are well done. I think there's too much "nebula" in the way to get a good idea of the scope of the field. Also, I would personally like to see the mines a bit more "scary" looking. Just me though. Still, it's a lot better than I can do!

Very Cool afterburn effect it almost makes you squint! Love the ship design it has an old classic look to it and a heck of a nerve try to travel through such a field in a ship of that size awesome job!

It does seem to have a little less impact than your usually but the FX are good. I like the glow of the ships engines. Still a nice work.

Cool affect and interesting design for the ship and mines. Reminds me of some of the Heavy Metal space scenes I have seen. Slighty cartoonish mix with realism. Enjoyed.
