BUY THIS CAR!
Captured back on 10/27/08, at the 7th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Please zoom for greater detail.
Taillights have come a long way since then.
These shots were taken at the same show as the Golden Knight pics that I previously posted.
I also have pictures of the 1950 Ford Woody behind it, which I will post later.
Tally-ho, and thankx for stopping by.

I LOVE woodies--and this one is just awesome!! In the early 60's when surfing was just taking, these were the vehicle of choice and it was a VERY cool thing to be driving with a surfboard or two sticking out the back. Great shots, Harry!!

I like this history stuff. only one tail light too lol and so small

I guess you had to use hand signals with only one tail light. Awesome shots. Cool car.

A classic alright. And it appears to be a 1949 or 1950 Ford Woody right behind it. My first car at 17 was a 1950 Ford convertible...thought I had arrived. Back to your first rate collage. Nicely done...giving us all the angles. Too bad photographically speaking that the owner put his sign board right in front of that beautiful 1936 grille...yes, grilles can be beautiful in the eyes of certain beholders:-))) P.S. Now that I've pulled this four times and put it back...I think I've got most things spelled right:)

Oh how C U T E!!!! I would love to have one of these... It is so classic and I can so see myself purring down the street in one of these.... oblivious to the chaos I am causing behind me... LOL... Wonderful oldie Harry and great images!!!

Fascinating to see and old timer made of metal and wood. We don't see this today that is for sure. Great shots.

Terrific shots! Are those belts holding the hood down? Love the reflections in the windows and on the wheel guards! I see you in #1. I always like catching your reflection.

again, you conjure most interesting comments because of the captures & subject materials. I didn't think about the grill being covered until I read bill, for example. Now I want to scream at whoever put that sign there. (When I drew that old car, I spent a lot of time on the grill, and it makes you really appreciate how beautiful it is, just by itself...) Nice sweep & sheen on the green, and you added blur not only to the background (which you've spoken about) but to the background through the windows, which is probably necessary for balance but I just didn't expect it, and I think it's beautiful. I think we see you in the top fender; and that back view is amazing because these really were squared-off affairs! (Lol on the taillights! That is not an impressive taillight!) Very clear & (visually) reflective captures of a beautiful old car; and another revelation for those of us who know little about these old beauties. I've learned more about old cars here than anywhere else. Fine captures.

Nice shots of this little piece of nostalgia; I remember these full of surfboards also!

Makes me think of the Beach Boys:-) My uncle had one of these but I was too young to appreciate it in the 50's and by the time I was old enought to appreciate it, it was totaled in an accident... Very nice captures Harry!

"I got a '34 wagon and they call it a Woody. Not very cherry, its an oldie but a goodie"...Beach Boys Missed it by two years. Still a sweet ride. You've captured it very well. My personal favorite is the 1947 Mercury Woody (makes sound like Homer Simpson staring at a donut).
