My first thought was milk being poured into a glass. A second glance has my thought process on it being a jarred candle having just blown out the flame leaving the smoke effect inside.

it does look lava lamp(ish) or droplets of milkshake but it's too 'smokie' to be milkshake. If you look at just the bottom half it look like a lot of aliens :o) Great shot, can't wait to find out what it is
