Your attention to detail of the precise finger position tells me you are one who has studied the Way. I would say this image should be titled "Focus on the mark", see the knife hit the mark and then throw it. Like a cat who winds up, pauses, visualizes its landing on the counter top and then unleashes a perfect leap to land just where it knew it would.
