Description

Neuschwanstein is one of the Koeniglichen Schloesser in Bavaria, Germany. A Schloss is a castle and this one was built by the Bavarian King Ludwig II. This picture was taken on 28 December 2009. A comment about this trip. Anything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. All weather related. Europe is experiencing the coldest winter in three decades, but comparisons with the North and/or South Pole are a little exaggerated. Anyone that has spent a winter in the American Mid-West would laugh about the 'cold'. But because the temperatures are lower than normal, it is wrecking havoc with traffic; road, rail and air. The one good thing that came out of it is that any possible onset of Alzheimer's should be delayed. I am busy trying to recoup extra incurred costs and/or cancelled hotel charges.
