Landscape photographer born in 1983 currently based in Oxfordshire, England.
For me photography is about much more than simply making pretty pictures, documenting locations or capturing memories. It is also about developing a deeper understanding of the world around us and exploring it through a creative eye. Seeking out photographs encourages me to look deeper and truly see things I might only previously have noticed. To my mind a successful landscape photograph is one that transports the viewer into the scene and evokes the same sentiments as I experienced at the time of shooting. Through sharing my images I hope to be able to bring you with me, put you in my shoes, and show you our beautiful world the way I see it.
Thanks for taking the time to browse my images, I hope you enjoy my photography!

Very effective spinning stars. I would not mind to have a bit of the highlight on the hedges but that is not a point of this picture so just ignore my coment on that.

Very cool...love it!

This is a very well done shot of Polaris in the sky! If you want to brighten up anything like hedges, just wander through the scene during the exposure and hand-fire a small flash attachment. It will have no effect on the sky image, but it's a good way to add a bit of detail to the black areas if you want that.

What a marvellous effect you achieved in this shot, I'm sure everyone will want to try to replicate the effect. You live in a very beautiful house too.

Was about to say you shoulda turned out your light. Will have to pick your brains about some of this at a later date - such as is it trial and error for the exposure or do you have a rule of thumb? (no point in trying it in london hardly ever see stars in the first place). have you tried it from the bend in your drive to the right? would put north star at the top left "third" - not sure how the rest would pan out tho.

Absolutely gorgeous! Now we know, where North is
