Description

The J. Paul Getty museum, as it was in the early 80s. Built as a re-creation, of the Villa, of the Papyri, at Herculaneum, Italy. It is now called the “Getty Villa”. The opposite view from last night’s posting from a second floor window looking out at the entrance. Some information from Wikipedia. Scanned from a photo, taken in the early 80s. This garden could have been drawn in colorful oil pencils on white paper - it is so very perfect in form. Wonderful view! Excellent quality shot.
