This is a beautiful picture! Love the bench in the background,. Perfect for sitting and enjoying a beautiful summer night...well, here in NH right now that is a far away dream, LOL. But I am SOO proud of you both for quitting smoking. I have never smoked, but I have heard from others that it is very, very hard and I applaude you both!! I KNOW you can kick this! And something that I have heard ex-smokers say is that food tastes SO much better. Cheers for you both, Cheri and Dave!!!

I kind of remember this, I was right as to that it was taken in the Paine gardens, and Cheri still has so many neat shots to show you just from there. I love the clarity in this particular grab. The shot itself reminds me of the hangy down parts of the spider plant, and it seemed really unusual to see that almost mimicked by a pine tree. While quitting smoking is certainly not anything near what I would consider fun, it certainly is going to be do-able. I'm glad that faemike55 hasn't been here just yet. Mike,.....how long does it take for that anxious, yearning feeling to finally go away????

go to the health store and get "Calm" it will calm you down natural and it do work. i bought some for a bi-polo friend and it works on her when she not on her med. just think of some one talking and going 90 mph at the same time and they not in a car. She do not like to take her med for she sleeps too much then. wonderful photo

hard to tell where the bench starts and the plant ends! and wow, the things you'll want to eat now that you're not smoking. guess that's why they say people gain weight, cuz now they can really taste everything. but the very best of luck to you; it's a nasty monkey you've carried on your back!!

Great photo! as for the no smoking situation, I had cut down to about 5 cigarettes a day (from over a pack and a half) and when I ran out of them, I just stopped. there are times, especially when someone first lights up and you get that first whiff. but then it smells bad. the fact that I ride my bicycle and walk helps as well. As for anything else, I just remiind myself that the money I'm saving is now available for my computer and DAZ and Bryce, and.... there will be times, but just remind yourself just what it was that you were doing and what you can do now health wise and money wise.

Gorgeous capture! I love how crisp and clear the bit of pine is (white pine?) and that the background is just clear enough to make out what it is, but not so much as to detract from the pine tip itself!

A lovely place to sit and take your time..... Yes! You find that when you give up smoking.. Its called 'taste'! Black Coffee is awful.. etc! Things taste better.. Some taste worse! All smell more intense! Go for a meal in a Restaurant.. Taste the food there... You will wonder, what was I doing!!!!???? Enjoy... And take care! Rob
