Description

A Scientist’s Journal Log from the Planet Menelwen (Mehn-ell-wehn) Date: June 14th 2692 While out exploring the Taurhassdorien (Towr-ahs-dore-ee-ehn) galaxy, we came across the most extraordinary event. On the planet Gwilwilethel (Gwill-will-eh-thell) we witnessed the birth of a new land mass. The colors seen in the lava spewing from the soon to be dome are due to the rich minerals this planet contains. The atmosphere, terrain, and vegetation are equal to Earth of the 16th and 17th centuries to the tenth power. The temperature is mild year round. There are steady winds of 10 mph which prove very helpful to the European honey bees, we managed to bring back from almost extinction, with pollinating the fruits and vegetables we started from seeds brought from Earth. The plants and trees native to this planet are all non toxic and edible. So far the only life forms we have found are amebas in water samples that are identical to ones found on Earth. This planet could be the saving grace of all of humankind. Some of the areas are all ready being prepped for colonization. Solar panels are being set in place to harness the solar energy from this system’s very stable two suns. Wind towers are slated to be put up next and then environmentally friendly housing units. Areas are already plotted out for farming centers. All factories and most businesses will be located off planet in stations on the five moons, two of which are visible in the photo I have taped on the adjacent page. The only businesses that will be located on the surface will be medical, fire, police, and supply centers. Schools and Daycares will be located in an orbit around the planet on one ship. This planet is one of the most breath taking I have ever seen. I now must place my faith in humankind that they not devastate in the manner they have destroyed their own world. Hopefully the lesson had been learned. You do not own the planet you live on, but you are merely the custodians and are charged with the needs and cares of it and all that live on it. By Eäryendë Maranwethiel (Ay-are-yehn-day Mar-ahn-wehth-ee-ell) Ok the above image was done in with two types of jpegs. First the lava was created in Apo. The moons and stars were from photos taken this past June and the moons of course manipulated in Photoscape. The land and plants are photos pieced together from my Wisconsin Dells shots (they come in so handy for other worldly landscapes). They too were manipulated in Photoscape. The image was then put together as a whole in the combine module in Photoscape and presented here today for you. I hope you enjoy my other worldly adventures. Much love and peace, Cheri

It's nice to see you enjoying your playtime, and knowing how much effort you put into this,..I can honestly state that the end product is both spectacular and breathtaking!!! I love the fact that you can now take bits and pieces of your photos and turn them into something so much more,..this is so visually cool, a great piece of eye candy!! Maybe this time mankind will get it right.

An outstaanding effort well realized. I thought you had a fractal tree but lava is good. This has the makings of a series. You and Chipka should talk.
