Description

Trent and David's piano ... again ... one of my favorite things to shoot! One day soon I'll show you the whole piano and shock your little socks off! :D I've been busy out in the world again, and am having Renderosity withdrawal. Must ... get ... into ... the ... galleries!! I don't think I'll be able to do all the commenting I would like to do, but I'll at least give it a whirl! I hate going a day or two (or three) without looking at your wonderful artwork. Whether I have time to comment or not, the art you share here feeds my soul.

Such a wonderful view. I like peeking inside. Makes me wonder if maybe Trent or David might have hidden a little treat in there for the enterprising scavenger. I've always loved the ebony color of a grand piano (my mother used to play and teach piano)...the reflections in the dark, black, shiny finish gives us a hint of windows, some outside shrubbery and probably even the house next door. Great presentation from the light to the eye-catching angle...:)

I remember this piano--first from the shots you took crawling around on their floor, and then when I actually got to see it for myself. This perspective is amazing, I don't think I would have known it was actually a piano. Another great foto, Tara!!

WOW! What reflections and smooth, shiny textures! This is so incredibly rich and sumptuous. I love the darker colors and the way they catch the light, and then boom the wood tones come through with such warmth. This whole shot is absolutely vivid and inviting and quite sensual. At times a piano is best experienced in so fragmentary a way...it keeps you on your toes and engages you in ways unimagined until such engagement takes place. Oh, and I know what Renderosity withdrawal feels like; there were times when I felt as if I needed to check into a Renderosity withdrawal clinic...but it's great to see your posts when you can make them. And well...this is super work!

OH this is a wonderful perspective shot Tara and I like the softness in it too. I so wish I could just once try to play a really big triangeled piano. :)

This would dumbfound contestants in a 'what is this object' competition! It has enormous dynamism and such visual complexity that I found myself engaged completely. And THEN one has to attempt to connect 'piano' and image!
