Description

Been since Christmas since I have done and uploaded an image...We got our first snow a week ago...got 4 1/2 inches..Got a few pics..not many as the weather was way too cold...glad the artic freeze has passed...but due again Monday for temps to be 30 during the day and low teens at night..........with maybe more snow showers... I thought this one looked so pretty like it was reaching for the sun & reminded me of cotton on branches... Got results from my last bone scan test...and it has came back positive that my cancer has spread..it is now in my left rib area..Can't do a biopsy due to where it is located...and they specifically told me not to quit chemo..that the chemo I am getting now is keeping it from spreading any farther...so just basically walking around with cancer in my body...and hoping the chemicals in the chemo will kill or destroy what is there...will know more about they said in 3 mos when I am re scheduled for another bone scan...I came home and just busted out in a cry.....I am so tired of chemo and test...would love to have just a few good days of being pain free....I get so discouraged..just seems I have been doing this forever...and I was told I could not ever quit the chemo..would have to take it the rest of my life to try and keep the cancer at bay..... Well this pic was a dead stalk in my flower garden..and just had to get a snap shot of it.. Added borders, frame, text, hue and saturation, All postwork done in PSP9 Have to take chemo tomorrow so will probably not be answering e bots for a day or two...hopefully I won't get sick..Will keep my fingers crossed:) I hope all of you have a good nights sleep and a great day tomorrow Thank you for your comments and also for those of you who favorite this image... Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers.... Hugs n love Susan aka Blush~

Susan, you are in my thoughts, and this one is brilliant I think it deserves to be in last week in the gallery, shining work my friend. And I would love to help you enter some of your photos in a contest, or competition. If I hear of any in the area I will let you know okay, this one I am doing ends Monday so not enough time to get prints made. Take care my friend.

What a lovely image of our winter here. You received more than we did. Tis a beautiful shot full of beauty. I am also sorry to hear of the results. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and hope that they will be able to find another way to keep the pain at bay. And with God's grace, hopefully your next scan will provide better results. God bless and keep you!

This looks like what's left of last summer's Queen Anne's Lace .. I love it when it's blooming, when it closes itself up for the night, and when it's gone to seed and has dried out like this. It's beautiful, especially when it is capped with snow like this and has that beautiful winter early evening sunlight. We have watched my BIL struggle with chemo for Mantle Cell Lymphoma. He ended up with a secondary Leukemia, and for now, is in remission from both. I wish the same for you, a long lasting remission. In the meantime you are in my prayers, my thoughts are with you, and I hope that chemo wasn't too rough.
