Description

It's been so cold everywhere the past few weeks and we're suppose to get an artic freeze again this week and maybe a whole lot of snow toward the end of the week So I thought we all needed just a touch of summer. I go to the Dr Tues to hear about my bloodwork and get my med refills will be glad but will hate to get out in 32 degree weather....Had chemo Thurs didn't get sick but was in extreme pain and finally had to go to ER at 6am in the morning...needless to say no one was there so I got in and out in 20min Don't know exactly what I got but the nurse had 2 shots.......and my eyes got huge..she said he ordered a big dose and she couldn't give it in one needle........and boy it hurt..but haven't hurt since then much so that has helped All post work as usual was done in PSP 9 I would love to learn to do images with the program but at a complete loss...... As always all comments are appreciated... Hope you all like the lil bit of summer and everyone has a good week Hugs n love Blush aka Susan~ P.S. Just wanted to let you all I recieved a site mail stating my Snow Blossom image made it last week in the gallery.......Thanks for all of your support and friendship Blush~aka~Susan~

A certain amount of courage should be required to endure such doses of chemo! Hopefully health gently takes over! Very nice listing of flowers for this summer! AMAZING colors! BRAVO!

Very beautiful! Such an inspiring shot and it sounds like ups and downs for you but for now more ups. So glad you didn't get sick and the pain has subsided. Be sure to let me know what's up after you see the Dr. I'll be waiting to hear. :-)

Lovely shot of the bloom of the tulip poplar tree. Here in the deep woods I rarely get to see one, because they are 80 feet up in the tops of mature poplars. I am sorry to hear of your troubles, but I'm glad to see you posting and comunicating again. I'm very happy your chemo went as well as it did. Maybe some of our prayers are getting through!

It amazes me that you can do such gorgeous work while going through such an ordeal. I hope you have relief from the pain and fully recover soon. I love the colors in this photo, the thick almost rubbery texture, and the beads of moisture.

Oh my Susan, this is one lovely flower and certainly brought a bit of sunshine into my rainy world. We had almost an inch of rain in the last 24 hours but the sun is trying to shine today, for the moment at least. I don't mind the rain since it keeps us green and beautiful. Thank you for the update and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. You are a real fighter and an inspiration to the rest of us.

Please let me know if I can help in some way, I am not that far away.. and our forcast is the same as yours, we had a few days of higher temperatures last week, then tons of rains this weekend. Beautiful capture, Susan. Wish your pain could be eased. I know I wish mine would go away (not cancer or anything terminal) but it also reminds me I'm still in this world. Sometimes, I wish for a little less reminding! Sorry for your pain but glad it didn't make you sick. Hang in there, Kiddo!
