Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Looks like they're fighting over who gets to trim the bush. Great shot!

I like this a lot! I wonder who these guys are. I thought perhaps Castor and Pullux, but also maybe Romulus and Remus...but who knows!? At any rate this is a superb capture. I love the light and the shadow, and the colors are wonderful. This is amazing and I'd love to visit this museum myself. This is great naturalistic sculpture...I love the play of their muscles and their ball-player's expressiveness. Well...Grecian (and by extension, Roman) wrestling poses. I don't think the violence tag is necessary, and probably not the nudity tag, though a sharp eye can actually spot a bit of "flagrant maleness." I love that term: "flagrant maleness." I once heard a biologist use it to describe the appearance of an ape displaying his...well...his flagrance. But that's a rambling aside so I'm gonna shut up now.

Great shot ! Posto veramente fuori dal comune ! Place really out of the ordinary!

I can't understand how anyone, especially a fellow photographer, could possibly be offended by such a beautiful sculpture and photo. If you are in-fact required to add the warning, the rules here seriously need to be looked at.

I just had to look to see what nudity might be found in the J. Paul Getty Museum, ha ha! I also loved the phrase "flagrant maleness!"

Stellar effects in this shot of the courtyard foliage and what appears to be a couple of wrestlers. And, the dark shadows hide any vestige of nudity. Incidentally, nudity doesn't bother me a bit. It is natural, isn't it?

I don't think you needed the advisory, if you do I think half the museums and gardens in the UK would be shut down, somebody should tell them the bush is not a ball.nice shot.
