Description

Shot in Sydney late at night way back when I only had kit lenses so isn't as sharp as I would like. This station gets it name because of it's proximity to the Australian Museum, the oldest museum in Australia. Regular services from this station began in 1926. The station has laid claim to fame on numerous occasions: In 1998 Australian rock band Grinspoon filmed a video-clip to their song, Just Ace, on the station's platforms. The Matrix contains a chase scene filmed in the labyrinth of pedestrian tunnels found within the station near the Elizabeth & Liverpool street entrance. In 1994 the Cyberpunk game "Beneath a Steel Sky" featured the underground railway tunnels between St. James Station and Museum Station. The station has even featured in a Coca-Cola advert.
