Description
Firelight a kind of magic. Firelight makes time stand still. When you put out the lamps and sit in the firelight's glow there aren't any rules any more. You can do what you want, say what you want, be what you want, and when the lamps are lit again, time starts again, and everything you said or did is forgotten. More than forgotten it never happened.

Great Pic,Nicely Done
Elcet
Very intruiging and interesting tale! Nice image, but which illustrates the limits of Poser except when used with the best care: the clothes' folds are not at all realistic, normally a true cotton fabric wouldn't behave so (a common problem of conforming items), the mantelpiece (for sure, extremely well modeled) should cast a shadow on the wall and the beauty should also cast some shadow on the mantelpiece top. 5+ for the tale, the cloth concept and the composition.

A very nice looking rendering. I think 'Elcet' captured all of the technical issues, but all in all, pretty good work. Add to that you're remapped character textures, and its really sharp.

Great image - nicely done - all the technical issues Elcet brings up are valid but those are the limitation of the software and should not take away from your hard work on this picture

Well done!

I do question whether Poser is really incapable of imparting sufficient realism to the dress. I'd suspect it is more a matter of aquiring the necessary skill by designing exercises of one kind or another. Otherwise, would not the aquisition of the necessary drawing skills enable the basic image to be refined in other software? As to the shadows, it is more a matter of being self-critical and in deliberately looking for faults. Perspective is also another source of trouble. Here being able to see the top of the mantelpice implies the eyes of the viewer must be higher, yet the reflected elbow suggests the opposite. Reality is a brutal master. My abstracts offer a more delicious latitude (joking). Having said all that I like the picture and the colour relationship between dress and mantelpiece is apt.

I love the tale and all the compositions.

A great likeness of Sophie Marceau, Daddy David! I'm so glad I saw the movie.
