My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Oh Tara this is gorgeous! This is my nemesis... Every single shot of moss I have ever tried, I messed up. I love the tender glowing green sprouts... Will have to try again!!! Hours?? :)))

Super macro, I love moss.

This is wonderful, all of them reaching for the light. I can almost smell/feel it - love the drop of water too! Cheers, Clive

Ooooh, Moss! I love that stuff! I had a rather alien variety of it growing in a planter outside of my little cramped apartment in Prague, and I saw more of it in other planters at the Golden Sickle, and since then I've loved moss inordinately! This is a fantastic capture, and it's funny, I love the name and I thought it was a bit of moss captured in a marble planter. Great details and light, and I love the dreaminess of it. It's gone reproductive at some point as well...it has those nicely reproductive periscopes! Great, super, fantastic work!

Very nice shot!

This looks like something I would see in an aquarium. It has that sort of undersea look to it, but those water drops (wow, those are nice!) tell me that you weren't deep sea diving--which wouldn't really surprise me, since you're quite the Ninja Photographer who fears no obstacles. This really looks great. It's so relaxing. It's the green, like a really soft and plush. This rocks!

Oh, this is where your computer wallpaper comes from. Really fetching! Love the soft feel that moss conveys. You've captured this very well dear one:)
