Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Nice shot Marilyn, this time you've spotted a 1971 third generation Charger. This Dodge had a restyled "Pontiac" grille and more rounded "fuselage" bodystyle, reminiscent of the 1968-1970 Pontiac GTOs. But you say you prefer the 66 GTO and I have to agree as that is the classic early muscle car.

Great shot, I'm with you on the GTO!

OoooWeeee, nice shot Marilyn. Just listened to ronnie and the daytonas...more memories from a great time in my life...and certainly must be in yours too:) You've done a beautiful job on the Charger above.

Very nice! My sister had a GTO, I had a 54 Packard and a 56 Lincoln. Funny I don't remember this car at all or the unusual color. Great shot tho!

Rockin' Charger. I can't tell if it's a '71 or a '72; they're very similar. I've always loved this body style. When I was about 9 years old, I wanted an R/T in Plum Crazy Purple Metallic. Of course later, I discovered that I liked the '68 even better: Tripple Black like the one in Bullitt. GTOs are beautiful also. ALL of them! And as we all know, I'm a Pontiac fanatic. Don't get me started on 70s Firebirds. Great shot!
