Description
We have all heard the phrase 'it's a moment in time.' What can that mean? Is it by a clock that we are to measure a given beginning and end? How long is a moment? Are there right moments or wrong to measure? How are we supposed to unravel this one? The answer is any way that we choose. Time is an invention of man and in the literal sense it is measured by a set of standards. But there is another time... one that cannot be measured. We have as much of it or as little of it as we believe. Now wait a minute... how can that be? Time in this sense is measured by our awareness of its passing. Have you ever noticed that when we're engrossed in something that has our complete and total attention, that time seems to fly? Have you ever noticed that when we put off something, that time seems to drag on and on. So what are we going to do with all this time if we can control the pace of its passing by our awareness? Anything that we wish. For one thing. Let us slow down to the speed of life. We have all the time there is. Let us slow down the busyness of our minds and enjoy our moments. Let us enjoy the moments that we share with our family and friends... let us enjoy the moments that we give to our hobbies and interests. But most of all, let's enjoy the moments that we spend with others. If we are in too much of a hurry, we just might miss that one person who could make a dramatic difference in our lives. Let us take time to meet new people. Let us take time to notice the good that is rushing our way. There is a time when we can speed up and that is when we see our Good rushing towards us. We can also rush towards it. Time, time, time. We have an abundance of time. We have as much time as we are ready to receive. So... today... just for today... we shall allow ourselves to slow down to the speed of life. We shall ourselves to become involved in our life. We shall be the tortoise who may be slow but is surely steady with his pace and always reaches his goal.
Our thought for the day is: 'Take time to smell the roses and you just might be surprised at how many rainbows you will see.' Gayle O
I wish you peace so that you may have tranquility in all that you do. I wish you joy so that you may know the love of the life you live. But most of all, I wish you time... enough time so that you may measure it in a way that fits your needs.

This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack 2.08. This was created by working with the Tips for Textures with Crackle tutorial written by skellorg at DeviantArt. The tutorial download can be found in the fractal resources section at Deviant art. There were some major tweaks by me. Post work was done in PSP.
